About

Scientific Sue's Magical Science and Engineering Show- Suitable for ages 4+

Discover the enchanting blend of science and drama in Scientific Sue's Magical Science and Engineering Show at Hill of The O'Neill & Ranfurly House on Saturday 2 November, where her whimsical approach transforms this "Magic Show" into an entertaining and thought-provoking scientific experience.

Engaging with toys, circus gadgets, everyday household materials, along with lots of magical stories, Scientific Sue illuminates the profound impact of science and engineering on our daily lives. Join her on a journey where magical apprentices assist in unravelling the scientific secrets behind captivating illusions and magic tricks.

Harnessing the unseen powers of gravity, magnetism, and electricity, Sue and her apprentice wizards will recreate the magical essence of Harry Potter's Wingardium Leviosa Spell.

Can liquids defy the pulling force of gravity? The Envanesco Spell will be needed here – If magic isn't real our brave volunteer could end up covered in magical baby unicorn's wee wee! Yuk!

This immersive experience not only sparks curiosity and imagination in young audiences but also underscores the significance of science and engineering in shaping our everyday world.
Scientific Sue's wacky combination of science, engineering, drama and storytelling makes this educational programme at times funny, magical but always thought provoking.

Hubble bubble toil and trouble… fire burn and cauldron bubble.

Parents and carers are responsible for all children during this show.
