About

Explore the oldest form of fabric making which predates weaving and knitting. The workshop, facilitated by Andrea Hayes who is an experienced and talented local textile artist, will guide participants step by step through the process of wet felt making and needle felted techniques to create a bespoke felted A4 art piece.

Participants will have access to an array of colours of dyed merino and effect wool fibres. If you have an image you would like to create, please bring it along with you on the day or choose from a range of examples shown. No experience necessary and all equipment and materials are supplied.
