Dr Fearghal Mac Bhloscaidh's talk will focus on land ownership across South Tyrone, the growth of the linen trade in this area, and the beginnings of the organisation of labour at a time of political change.

Fearghal Mac Bhloscaidh holds a PhD from Queen's University, Belfast. He is a lecturer at St Mary's University College, Belfast. He is the author of "The Irish Revolution, 1912-23, Tyrone" and "Fenians and Ribbonmen: The Development of Republican Politics in East Tyrone, 1898-1918".
