Stars and Stones Explored

About

Join us at OM Dark Sky Park & Observatory to begin your journey exploring all the sky has to offer with the help of our expert staff and various telescopes.

This month we will be concentrating on the Summer Solstice, observing the sun through our various solar scopes. We will then venture along our Solar Walk to the Neolithic stone site, that is Beaghmore Stone Circles. You will hear ancient stories and learn why this site was so significant to our ancestors. Spend some time enjoying the heritage and landscape around you before making your way back to OM where you will enjoy a picnic.
