Are you interested in reading more contemporary Irish poetry but aren't quite sure where to start? Then why not come along to this relaxed session hosted by poet Niamh McNally, who will lead a discussion around two wonderful recent collections from leading poets.
The collections that will be explored are Devotion by Belfast-based poet Michael McCann and The Solace of Artemis by Paula Meehan, which won last year's Piggott Prize for Poetry. Niamh will guide the group through the themes and techniques on display in both collections and will chat about the wider poetry landscape in Ireland.
We will also be selling copies of both collections for participants to purchase in advance of the afternoon, for a price of £27.50. Please contact Box Office for details.
