About

This free, family fun event will take place from 3:00pm – 6:00pm with various children’s activities in Maghera Walled Garden and the Lurach Centre from 3pm to 5pm followed by the ‘Switch On’ of the Christmas Lights on Hall Street at approximately 5:40pm. 

We will have Mobile LED Walkabout Acts, Dance Workshops, Live Performances and Carnival Games in The Walled Garden, Santa Meet & Greet in The Potting Shed of the Walled Garden, DJ on Hall Street with Festive Music and Santa and Chair of the Council arrive Hall Street to switch on Christmas Lights.  

Road Closure in place on Tobermore Road (from Fair Hill to Main Street Junction) at 5pm onwards.
