About

Join us on Hill of The O'Neill & Ranfurly House this Autumn for a series of workshops on Genealogy and Family History Research. The workshops will be delivered by Eileen Quinn.

During the six-week workshops you will learn how to create a template for recording your family history. You will leave with an understanding of your surname and its relevance to your research in both a local and national context.

The programme will also cover the social and political history of the time, the effect on land dwellers and employment and how it influenced both emigration and migration.

Each week participants will utilise the many genealogical resources that are available online to help research their unique family history.
