Fishing at Dungannon Park offers a fantastic experience for anglers of all levels, with a beautiful 12-acre lake regularly stocked with rainbow trout. Whether you prefer bank fishing or using the designated fishing jetties, the lake provides a peaceful and scenic setting to cast your line. A fishing permit is required, which can be obtained from the park office, and anglers have the option to catch and release or keep their fish within daily limits. The park encourages responsible angling, with barbless hooks recommended, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. With ample parking, nearby picnic areas, and toilet facilities, Dungannon Park is an ideal spot for a relaxing fishing trip surrounded by nature.

The Park Lake fishery is a 12-acre stream fed lake, home to a range of aquatic insects and fly life. For those keen to learn how to fish, angling instruction and boats are available by booking and all equipment is supplied.  A wheelie boat onsite caters for wheelchair and disabled anglers.

Other facilities onsite include a fully serviced touring caravan park with hard standing pitches and ample space supplied for tents, a network of interesting pathway walks, tennis courts, children's play area and barbeque site, treasure and orienteering trails and a modern visitor amenity catering for an extensive range of needs.
