About

The Ballinderry River leaves the Sperrins to begin a 30-mile journey, flowing through Cookstown, Coagh and Ballinderry Bridge, before reaching its journey’s end on the western shore of Lough Neagh.

It is a renowned trout river and in recent years has enjoyed good salmon runs. Please contact Ballinderry River Trust for details on licencing and permits. The game fishing season on the Ballinderry River runs from 1st March to 31st October.
