About

The Food Doc is an independent, family run Wholefoods Café in Dungannon and are part of the Taste Mid Ulster Food Trail.  What started as a small dream turned into a reality in November 2019, when owner Danielle used her scientific research background and turned it into something practical.

Taste Mid Ulster Signature Dish

Pure Hash

Homemade hash browns, avocado, honey glazed halloumi, poached eggs and crispy onions with Ballymaloe relish.

The majority of components are made in our café with ingredients coming from local suppliers.

We make our own hash browns using potatoes and onions from Grange Farm in Moy, Dungannon. Our fresh eggs also come from Grange Farm. Cheese from Draynes Farm, Lisburn, crispy onions from Scotts in Coleraine and Ballymaloe relish from County Cork.

At The Food Doc, we use fresh, minimally processed, local ingredients as our focus is on the ethos of ‘you are what you eat.’ The Food Doc uses high quality ingredients bursting with nutritional value, swapping refined foods for wholefoods, and adding nutritionally dense superfoods to each dish.

We make everything fresh in The Food Doc, supporting local where we can. We make healthy food fun!

''Eat your food as medicine now, or you'll be eating your medicine as food later.''
