About

Femina Culpa are a poetry collective comprising Kelly Creighton, Linda McKenna, Milena Williamson, and Emma McKervey.

They each have released new collections I 2024, all based on historical research and archival materials, and all exploring C19th courtcases against working class women.

Their work examines the cultural and media attitudes to working class women at the time, and their place in society, from Tipperary to London, Staten Island to Stornoway.

Each poet will read from her work and take place in a discussion afterwards in the beautiful surroundings of National Trust property Springhill House.
