How to Get Here

Mid Ulster is served by flights into the following airports:

• Belfast International Airport
• Belfast City Airport
• City of Derry Airport
• Dublin International Airport

Travel by car:

• Belfast to Cookstown (from Belfast take the M2 North)
• Belfast to Dungannon (from Belfast take the M1 South)
• Belfast to Magherafelt (from Belfast take the M2 North)

You can reach Mid Ulster by car in less than 1 hour from Belfast City.

Travel by sea:

• Cairnryan - Scotland to Larne with P&O Irish Ferries
• Stranraer - Scotland to Belfast or Liverpool - England to Belfast with Stena Line 

Passport and Visa requirements for entry into Northern Ireland.

From 2025 Europeans and Americans travelling to the UK will need to apply for a £10 visa-waiver. The new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) will become mandatory from January 8th for American passport holders, and April 2nd for all those holding European Union passports, excluding Ireland. The ETA will be mandatory for foreign arrivals into the UK who do not need a visa, and will be valid for two years. All passengers must have one, including babies and children.
