The Elk is located in the heart of Mid-Ulster on the busy A6 road between the City of Derry and Belfast making it the ideal stop off point for meetings, snacks or meals. At The Elk we pride ourselves on good food, excellent value, and superb customer service in a relaxed and cosy environment. We also have excellent car and coach parking facilities and disability access to the building.

Whether you require light refreshment or a three course meal as you explore the exceptional beauty of Northern Ireland, The Elk has it all to offer. We have included our standard menu options below, which are always available for bus & coach tours, and alternatively if you can’t find what you are after on the menus below, we can tailor one to meet your every need. We also have fantastic local musicians who are able to entertain your guests (upon request) with the best of Irish Traditional and Folk music. Trust us, there’s no better way to break up your trip than at The Elk.

At The Elk we specialise in affordable but quality Weddings. We have packages ranging from £25 per person. With a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to see to your every need, you are sure to have the perfect day of your dreams. Our Creagh Suite can cater for functions up to 250 guests.
